If you have the name of the ship, vesselfinder.com is great - no need to register.

The boat with the Mrs’ car on it is currently in dock in Greece smile
I have it now. Just outside Shanghai. Due to land in Southampton on the 16th December.

Lovely Legacy, MDMA. Spec B 3.0R Tourer owner here.

Having come over from a pre-facelift Outback Rn, the flappy paddles revolutionise the driving experience, right down to the rev-matching throttle blip on downshifts.

I was pricing up winter jobs on the Outback and saw this for sale; did some quick calculations and realised that I could move to this for less than the cost of cashing in the old one and the parts needed for the works. Even the Mrs approves - win.

Enjoy in good health. Looking forward to reading more as it happens!

Looks nice. Bonnet vent also. Has it been turbo'd?

I think that the vent is a vanity thing from a PO. I'm not sure how well the EZ30 responds to turbo-ing. Supercharging is definitely an option, if a rather expensive one - imported new from Oz the kit costs about the same as the whole car!

It sports a Prodrive exhaust and, I think from the fuelling readouts, has bigger injectors. I have invested in a good quality VAGCOM cable so I can talk to Subaru SSM, clearing the tcu and going through relearning shifts has made a big difference and eliminated the intermittent trans shunt, esp from 2nd-3rd. I might have a play with RomRaiders, although my tech knowledge stops with WinXP 😳

Your daily is also a Legacy..? What flavour?!

The daily is a UK spec 2.5se. Now on 135k miles I think. Still going strong, doesn't use any oil or water, serviced every year and never missed a beat. Only big things its had was a clutch and single mass fly wheel conversion around 90k miles and a full stainless system about the same time as it was cheaper than a standard rear Y section. Both were done prior to purchase by the previous owner who bought it brand new. This one also has the high/low range box too.

Noice. I had the equivalent Outback before moving to the 3.0

I enjoyed its utterly reliable, refined company for quite a few years until a wannabe Vatanen appeared down our lane from the opposite direction one day.

Great looking thing this. Saw your post in my Japanese saloon thread, what was, or will be the total price when it arrives? Think I'll be using Torque GT for an import if I dont find a Crown available in the UK.

Always liked Subarus. Particularly the JDM Forester and Legacy Sti versions. A friend had an old 90's legacy Sti with the 2.0 Turbo. Was a hell of a car.

Car due to land on Wednesday next week. Then I just need to wait for it to be MOT'd and registered.

Docs were sent to DVLA for this earlier in the week. Will be interesting to see what kind of backlog there is...

Cars now at TGT. They've given it a quick wash off and will prep it in the New Year.

It's going to Grinspeed when I get it so you can have a good look over it there. I'm right in thinking you know him/had yours worked on there?
