(Regarding FTP, isn't there a piccie of it above with electric string hanging out of it's mouth, dated 1st March wink ...?)
Oh yes! I meant since the last one....

In seriousness, that never happened again. Can only put it down to a potentially old battery and lots of short journeys with the heated everything on.
laugh like the thinking, I might borrow that!

Makes sense, built for elegant cruises along the Cote D'Azur, can't say I blame it smile

Love the effort and passion put into the car and the entire story.
I only chanced on the post, but read the whole thing mainly because your writing style is so engaging - a real page turner.

Corr, HubNutters are everywhere, aren't they?!

Yes, it will do. I'm very time-poor at the moment, but the C6 will play one of the more 'starring roles' eventually smile

I have to apologise for the lack of updates. Basically, I started doing similar stuff on YouTube and the time involved is nuts.

I do plan to do some bulk updates on this, the BX, the SM and the Imp etc., but for now hopefully this update will do on my YouTube channel.

This is the first video I've done on the C6. It covers what's happened in this thread, and will go on to cover future fun and games.

I'm still loving the car. Put it back on the road a few weeks ago and, horrendous running costs aside, I just love driving it!

Didn't realise how far behind I was on the threads (the videos take up more of my time these days, as they started to become more successful than I ever imagined they would!)

C6 is still here. It's now a ~£3500 C6, but including buying the car and consumables like tyres, I don't think it's too bad. I've now gone past the tipping point where the outlay is greater than the resale value, and while that's cause for sorrow, I expect I held out a lot longer than most other C6 owners (or any similar-age car of that 'type')!

I'm working on a new video at the moment documenting the current round of repair work, which naturally has escalated, and naturally there's a deadline. Because jeopardy.

Good to hear - I tend to dip into them occasionally as I'm not overly keen on the vlog format for car related stuff - still prefer forums but they are one of the more watchable ones so credit there

Enjoyable thread!

Is the spoiler fixed?

I do have a perverse interest in old Citroens.. Love the BX. Nearly bought a BX GTi recently.

While I'd never be able to justify it, I love the fact that someone cares enough about curios like the C6 to throw good money after bad in keeping them on the road.
