Wow that is expensive, up in the north SERE motors are selling at 25.5 k, just as after, when I bought my new S-Class, it came with MGZ reg no
Exactly, new cars aren't cheap here. Also, depreciation curves (pre-Brexit/COVID), 40k car very swiftly becomes 10k car. Last purchase was an 8-year old diesel Mondeo, and something I don't mind owning for 3 years and putting 150ish thousand miles on (if it makes it to 330k, fingers crossed) biggrin

It's the filling with diesel twice a week that seems like a mega waste of resources, commuting alone (until the 2021 schools shutdown) was using 70 litres a week Monday to Friday. Though I'd imagine at 30k, depreciation on an EV doing that sort of miles could be horrendously steep.

Had a horrendous public charging experience today. This gives a taster but I’ll be summarising the whole debacle shortly!

When public charging goes wrong, it really goes wrong.

Can't say I was particularly expecting the Ecotricity charger to work, but I was very surprised when my Plan B option wasn't working either!

Interesting response from Osprey’s CEO on the issues there. Unsurprisingly, Ecotricity have been radio silent

Apart from the chap taking the piss about your choice of jumper I think you done pretty well in the YT comments, all pretty reasonable.

You need to do a "10 things I hate about my ZS EV" video to really get the nutcases going rofl

rofl - thought about it although I should maybe talk about things I actually like first

you’re right though - compared with some of the bile spewed in the YT thread on here, I’m doing alright

Time to do a ZS review with "Tesla Killer?" in the title, then conclude its better built than a model 3.
Then you will see some true bile (and views) hehe

I think that range was pretty decent given the weather and your journey.

If only it was set up for pre-conditioning. Any plans for that to be introduced as an update. I’d definitely consider one if it it could be pre-warmed

Enjoyed your real world experience of a winters drive. Cheers TP. I’m battling on in my new Duster LPG and I’ve been amazed how good it is. There may also be an EV on the horizon.

Wow TP, you definitely got out of the wrong side of bed for that video, you can moan for Scotland in the Olympics if you ever need another job rofl

Good range test though, also what's the orange light that keeps reflecting in the bottom of the drivers door frame just over your shoulder?

Nice review thanks TP.
My Zoe ZE50 is due next week so looking forward to doing similar in that, also to WGC albeit only 67miles for me, there and back should be fine even if I have to go anti-clockwise round the M25 on my return due to traffic.

Eh?

My house is on a private road, I’m not reserving spaces on a public street.

Getting up at 5am for a 5h round trip to fix a broken laptop does that to a man hehe

I suspect the reflections are just street lights / lights from other cars, the lighting is really bad in the earlier parts because of how dark it is outside.

Excellent! Are you also on the blue and red team or are there other companies in WGC? biggrin
