I’m sure everyone is tired of the most discussed area of the 718 GT4 / Spyder... the lack of sound!

Like many others on here, I have searched up and down the internet for options... and the various caveats (Warranties, Warning Lights, Insurance, Illegal, etc...)

I’m sure everyone is aware by now that you can swap out the rear box where the valve system lives also. This does not void warranty, throw up any warning lights, it is legal, and your insurance company should be fine with it.

However... with so many different manufactures and options now, it’s hard to figure out the setup they have, i.e - have they changed the Over Axel pipes and Headers too (which causes all of the above problems).

For those that have discovered options and have a video or sound byte, can you please contribute below, as most people just want to explore the Rear Box only option, particularly in the UK & Europe.

I’ll kick off with this one... Fabspeed... I’ve requested a video and sound byte today and will update when it arrives.

So are you taking the plunge and putting it on your gt4? Assume you’re keeping it then?

Exhausts are a minefield, you want something loud, but not too loud.... always the challenge as you don't know till it's fitted

Not all of us can get our exhausts for free smile.

Does it fit yet?

Mine is costing me hard cash, no freebies here smile

My car is currently at the exhaust fabricators so they can ensure the fit is spot on. Should have the car back late next week I think...

My exhaust should be all sorted tomorrow morning - the jig has been updated and the rear pipework plus bullet silencers is currently being tweaked to fit. I'll be picking it up on Friday as long as all goes to plan biggrindriving

That looks interesting, and its really useful that it has the Db level at idle, 3000 and 5000 rpm Does anyone know the Db level at idle, 3000 and 5000 rpm of the standard exhaust, and the same for the offerings from JCR and Akrapovich by comparison?

That's too loud for most circuits?
