Not quite sure how you managed to eat up 5mm of tyre tread in 2k miles - Tuscans are very light on tyre wear
My better half would explain it as an over fondness for the accelerator and brake biglaugh

I haven't updated this thread in a while, but just got my wedding photos back which included some cracking ones of the Tuscan so thought it worthwhile. We got married in June, and the Tuscan was pressed into a 1,000 mile round trip to the wedding in Scotland and back to London. I was a bit nervous, as breaking down on the way up would have meant missing the wedding and breaking down on the way back would have meant missing the honeymoon! I packed various spares and tools however, it went without a hitch (almost!). The only problems were an exhaust that got knocked off the hangar by the steep road down to the venue, and a boot that refused to lock - until we realized after about an hour of sweating and swearing that it was because the glass was pushed back by things on the back shelf (it was packed to the gunnels with wedding fayre...). We also seriously regretted the lack of air-con on the way back - traffic jams, 30+ C heat, and a 5 hour journey that took 8 hours ... never been so sweaty.

Here's a few of the pics - sadly Thumbsnap compression doesn't do them much favours.

Congratulations on you wedding, and great to hear & see the TVR featuring prominently.

Did you attend the PH 25th event? There were lots of TVRs but don;t recall seeign this one...

Thanks guys thumbup I did wonder if it was a bit self-indulgent to park it right in front of the castle, in the middle of the reception; but hey, if you can't be self-indulgent on your wedding day, when can you be!

I wasn't at the PH 25th Anniversary Event, but wish I was; has been a super busy year with wedding, so haven't been to many events - but hope to get to some soon.
