What’s the advantage of those discs as opposed to the factory CC ones?
The Surface Transforms ceramic disc brakes are a) significantly lighter than OEM Mercedes and Porsche ceramic discs and b) can absorb higher temperatures than their OEM counterparts. I regularly track my cars and since fitting the Surface Transforms ceramic brake discs to my GT3Rs last year I haven’t looked back. If you don’t go near a track day or only do two or three a year, however, I wouldn’t bother. For more info, visit: www.surfacetransforms.com

You lucky git, that’s almost the prefect combination of track cars!
Are the GTR wheels painted? I’ve got similar wheels on my C63, problem is they’re diamond cut, which is such a crap finish for U.K. roads.
Thanks. I wanted a heavyweight (Mercedes), middleweight (Porsche) and a lightweight (Atom) with 8, 6 and 4 cylinders. Got there in the end! Are the GTR wheels painted? I’ve got similar wheels on my C63, problem is they’re diamond cut, which is such a crap finish for U.K. roads.
The wheels on my GT R Pro are standard so I’m not sure if they’re painted or not. I assume they are. It’s a nice finish. Maybe Mercedes World could help you out?
