That’s lovely OP.

The interior would look great if it was just the seats and inserts on the door cards in savannah, but as it is it’s a bit much for me too.

Liking that a lot.

I really like the savanna interior with the dark carpets etc. I think a black steering wheel would transform it.

Are you Gregs mate?

Looks cool. Another vote for not changing that interior too drastically. The dash coming out will be a move to regret imo. Echo the ideas of braking up the tan with black wheel, door pulls etc.

Nice

Will you sell the Savannah interior or keep hold of it?

If you do plan to sell please let me know.

Yes good detective skills. I'm guessing you're Greg's new boxsters old owner and also a new 996 owner?"

That is lovely! The C4S is the sweet spot of the 996 range for me.

Right colour and right wheels, I could have lived with the interior.

Thanks for the positive comments. It's nice to see there's a lot of love for the 996.

RE the interior, I'm surprised for the amount of love for it TBH, I don't partially have an issue with the seats & door cards but the dash & roof lining combo are particular over powering.

I'm now in possession of the full black interior for this car. I'm not one to scrimp on thing and have gone with an OEM alcantara roof lining and some recently retrimmed alcantara steering wheel, handbrake & gear selector. Subject to my OCD cleaning of the new seats etc all items will all be going in shortly.

As mentioned the car came with a CTEK battery charger/conditioner. I've since purchased the quick release connector which fits discreetly in the 'frunk' allowing it to be connected/disconnected in seconds. It's a nice piece of kit

Are you new to PH?

This is a car forum and you have a nice car there. Therefore more pics of the car please and less of the battery charger.

Thanks

Lovely machine.

Congratulations on the dream car purchase, it is such a good feeling.

I’d always wanted a V8 and last year I pulled the trigger on one finally and it felt great.

Very nice. I have always liked the 4s and regret not buying one a few years ago.

I'm a fan of the baby poo brown interior personally. I think black on a dark car is a bit much, imo. I could see a dark alcantara headlining working though. I've got pensioner shoe grey on my 996.1 which I'm not that much of a fan of!

When you say interior do you mean seats as well? Does it have sports seats?

Car looks lovely, any performance mods or maintenance planned?

I think if it was done carefully a mix of black and savannah would work pretty well - might just lift the interior a bit so it didn't feel like a coal hole.

This is a lovely looking car

My 996 is black on black... I would prefer a little colour to be honest

I adore black C4S's. The dark colour makes the rear reflector stand out and accentuate the width of it.

It's the best looking 996 for me.

Congratulations on realising a dream driving
