1. Yes they do fold down but not sure how long a pair of skis are!
2. I have to be sensible on the throttle if it is damp or a bit greasy! It is my only car but if it's icy or snow then I'm not going to use it (I'm in Horsham, West Sussex). You can get a wider tyre on the existing rims to help with grip. That or look at a widebody which has the wider wheels and tyres as standard.
3. Trip has it just shy of 20mpg over 4000 miles. Mine is the 6.4 and a manual - Dodgy's might be an auto going by his numbers. Autos have the MDS cylinder deactivation system so will run on 4 at times

in sheer 1/4mile pummeling times the electric one would be the one to go for - for me though I love the sound of a V8 too much (I'm looking to lose some silencing as it is!!)

Yeah I hear you on that....

But I've had 20 plus years of aural delight and the hearing loss to go with it so might be a time for me to grow up sadly.

Plus I've been out in a few modern performance cars lately, and with the engine noise pumped jnto the car via speakers, I imagine the electric cars will be the same

Done a quick check and if they were in dead straight they'd rest on the rear of the armrest, diagonally probably go in ok.

Agree with Dodgy on the sound! No doubt Dodge will make the EV car look the part but to me it needs the soundtrack to be a muscle car.

I'm not sure where in the UK you are but happy for you to have a look around mine if it helps.

Love this car! perfect colour choice in B5 met Blue :-) and also being the facelift model in the R/t scat pack version.

Be my first choice for a modern classic over the new Camaros and Mustangs which are indeed nice cars but the Dodge still screams Muscle car, Mopar rules ;-)

Thanks, sounds like you have good taste! Glad I went for one in B5 Blue although I do think these look fantastic in any colour.

We need more pictures, and it deserves its own thread.

The Scats can be seen as the sweet spot of the range in terms of power and usability of that power. More so with the widebody package having the wider tyres and better grip compared to mine, correct me if I am wrong on that, Matt.

Both lovely examples that Matt & Andy have. I would love a Hellcat at some point!

That is exactly how I read it - for my tastes a fully loaded widebbody shaker 392 would tick all my boxes I think

Yup, both Dom and Dodgy nailed it.

"Goldilocks and the Three Bears" the salutary tale of the difference between too little, too much and just right.

I'd go further and ask the question, "Can you really have too much?" I think that in the case of a Hellcat, you can have too much torque and horsepower, if you have too little tyre. I'm not sure what the Mopar guys were thinking when they put those skinny tires behind 700+ hp.

Sorry, my dumb ass was google searching a special edition "Goldilocks" - its been. stressful week.

I have driven/owned most of the Challengers and the Hellcat is indeed 200 HP more than 275mm can handle. For me, 6.4, Widebody, Automatic Challenger with down pipe modification, hold the porridge. lol

This thread has potentially changed my mind about my next car. Have some inheritance and a Caterham was on the list, but now changed over to a Challenger or maybe a Charger.
