Looks sweet. + it’s exciting. How is the interior is a hundred times better than 3 year old nissan jukes I’ve been looking at in the uk? They look like dustbins the way people treat them.
Will see tomorrow, but it was Grade B at auction. That’s really something for a 26 year old car, so it should be good CoolHands said:

Went to see it today and although the interior is undamaged, it does need a damn good clean. So I didn’t take any pics of it yet!rossub said:
Would like to see pics of yours!
I know it’s my thread, but you’ve been part of the journey, so would be good to share
Here she is being collected from the docks. Im pleased to report she sailed through the MOT yesterday. Ill probably create a thread on it myself once theres more to report but only things ive found so far are it needs a new battery and a new boot seal.I know it’s my thread, but you’ve been part of the journey, so would be good to share
Liking these imports! I almost bought a nissan serena for the family. Just turned it down last min due to all the petrol chat going on just now. I don't want to have to run a family wagon on super unleaded!
The wife fell in love with it though. Settled for a Galaxy instead
I had a 1990 mk1 shogun for a while. Loved it!

Don’t forget that the mpg would probably be better. Tesco is usually about 8p per litre more for 99, so not too bad.
Forgot to mention I had to replace the 2 batteries on it - lucky if you don’t have to on imports I’ve found. Thankfully Alpha Batteries do a deal on the Pajeros at £140 the pair.
Docs are going away today, so we’ll see what the DVLA wait is. Hoping 6 weeks, but expecting up to 10
Either way it’ll be getting undersealed in cold weather, which isn’t ideal.

i used to love the Pajeros when they 1st came in 1984/5 when I was in Sri Lanka and loved the dashboard with the altimeter as the OP,my uncle on a tea plantation had it as the official vehicle for about 10 years and it was very comfortable and roomy, right now those old Pajeros are being sold at eye watering prices in Sri Lanka
