UK "regular" is 95 octane so OK to run on that, although premium is better if you can stomach it at about £1.90 a litre at present.

I'm surprised that you extended to such a sum! smile

Good to see you're getting some relatively trouble free motoring from the bork bus. Other than fluids, are there any more preventaive maintenance jobs that need doing?
I don't think so! The metal bits all look good. Probably could use some new dampers at some point, but once this is done, I'm hoping it's just oil and filters for a while. Did the front diff today, Got the oil drained, but couldn't get the filter housing off with out the proper tool to grasp the plastic 74mm 14 sided thing - £10 on Amazon, hopefully arrives tomorrow.

Was hoping to make it to the Sunday service today, but forgot it was the wife's birthday...oops.

If any sadists are still interested in running one of these @ £2 a litre, this seems very good value with propshaft replaced, roof bars and in unicorn "V8S with Air & PDDC" spec: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202207077...

It's cheap, but it's not a brilliant spec aside from air. No heated seats, no memory seats, no multifunction wheel, aftermarket cruise control. I'd probably give it a miss unless I was desperate.

I continue to be amazed how miserly the spec can be on these! Nice tyres on that one though.

Any updates on yours OP?

Same with all Porsches. You're lucky you get a steering wheel without ticking an additional box.

As for the tyres, I have the same Michelin Latitude Sport 3 on ours. They're very good. Much better than the previous garbage Michelin Latitude Sport, which barely lasted 8000miles. But they were Porsche "N" rated, so had to have them fitted to maintain warranty. Binned them as soon as the warranty expired. Another little money-making wheeze by Porsche....

But yes, it is quite low specced but it's comparatively cheap and has PDDC

Full Service History would be a big bonus if the seller has owned it for a decade and kept all the receipts. A bunch of stamps would be less reassuring, unless from a known specialist.

Either way, you'd need large underpants to take one on at 159k!

(Panoramic sunroof, heated seats, multifunction wheel, no cruise - maddening!)

Call me picky, but the fact that the as says it's not been serviced for almost 2 years is a red flag.

2 years is the Porsche scheduled servicing, regardless of miles or age.

Sort of. 20k or 2yrs was what Porsche specified.

Yes, sorry you're right. I meant regardless of age or total mileage

Either way, they are pretty generous intervals.

They burn through a litre of oil every 2500miles, so they get an annual oil change just through topping up.

It's interesting how much they can vary. Mine was nowhere near that run rate over several years and maybe 25000 miles (all at total mileage >100k)
