Doesn't seem like it does it!?!?!?
No it certainly doesn't. Its done just under 13000 miles in the last year, there's a few trips planned between now and the end of the year. On Tuesday I'm planning on going down to Landguard Fort, then on the 6th September I'm down at the Sherwood Forest Railway on a train driver experience day.

Just read this from start to finish! There’s still something to be said for a good diesel engine. I’ve got the 2.0 in my Transit and it just suits it down to the ground. It’s also such a shame to see the focus being retired soon too. Yet to see a 22 plate Focus outside of the dealership frown

Loving the mileage pics too! Keep it up! biggrin

Thank you, I am very impressed with the car, the 1.5tdci is a lot more refined than the 1.8tdci in my old Focus, but then the engine is a much newer design so that's to be expected.

Congrats for stepdaughter! - Hide your keys...

How was the wear looking on the old tyres? - my Focus used to eat the inside edges despite many many re-alignments.

Thanks Peanut Gallery. The n/s/r tyre was wearing thin on one edge but the other wore evenly.

Stepdaughter isn't insured for the Focus and the keys are always on me.

Currently on my way back from a trip down to Landguard Fort near Felixstowe. The Focus will have done over 400 miles today by the time I get in, it clicked over 107k on the way down.

Yes it would, unfortunately I was on the A63 doing 70mph at the time so wasn't able to capture it.

Saw this beauty in London earlier, an ancestor of the Focus. Speaking of the Focus it hasn't seen much use as we have been in Spain for a week though it did ferry 4 of us to Leeds Bradford Airport and back, all 4 cases fitted in albeit with one of the rear seats folded.

Had a ride out to Wrest Park today. I also saw a 02 reg Mk1 Estate, a rare sight these days anyway but this one was a pre face-lift. Unfortunately I couldn't get a picture as I was driving.

I believe its a conventional set up on these, the price includes a water pump change
