Thanks Bobbers it's been really good so far, went to Paignton Zoo today, we are going to Babbacombe tomorrow to the model village and cliff railway, Monday is a train ride on the steam train to Kingswear. We will also be going for a ride on a horse drawn canal boat either Sunday or Wednesday.

Clicked over 117k yesterday on the drive back. Just over 700 miles covered in 10 days.

The Focus had a ride out to the Severn Valley Railway yesterday, a 360 mile round trip.

Excellent, I suspect that it's doing considerably better mpg than the Mini does!!!

I think the on board computer says an average of 57mpg.

The Focus had another decent run out yesterday, this time up to the Scottish border, just over 500 miles covered in a day

The Mini is now showing its true colours, returning just 30.6 mog in daily use!!!

Come further north!! Forget the borders, get to Glasgow, then through, THEN the roads start! We have brilliant roads up here! (p.s. Please forget the NC 500, those roads are good, but there are better roads and with less tourists)

Yeah I'll have to have a trip further north at some point. I was getting photos around Jedburgh and a few other places

I'm not doing as many as I was but that's down to the shorter commute, this year its done around 9000 miles and a lot of that has been on longer journeys
