Standard External Torx bolt. Used all over the automotive world.
Yeah I've got the correct bit and it works fine when the bolts are in good order. Already changed seats in 2 other 9x6 cars and had zero problems. One of these bolts was a right mess and in the worse position to access. Close to fhe belt buckle and with seats that dont fold - not good. Hopefully it's obvious which bolt.

Found some mould growing on the door panels - front and rear. Treated with Rice Vinegar. Let's see if that prevents it coming back.
Is that a known treatment? Gen question!

Found it on Google. Something about the PH of Vinegar damaging the mould - or killing it I guess. Can be used on leather jackets and it is natural.

Trying this one for size. The Pole Positions are being donated to a different car.

Seemed OK. Then tried to fit the standard belt buckle. It won't go.

I've bought a universal belt buckle to try for size. It connects with the car's seat belt fine. Once attached to the seat mount it looks fine. It can go through the hole provided - thats just a bonus I guess. I can't really take pics of me in the seat but it is very snug against my hip and not proud of my [chunky] waste. Ok I will try a pic. Most people will probably sit on it when climbing in and then need to fish it up. I think it will work. I'll bolt it all into the car and try it.

Currently testing this in my 986 with the borrowed [from here] Pole Positions. It is much better than the standard buckle with bucket seats so I will order some more for both cars. Will get some pics.

Longer seat belt buckles to try. These should be plenty big enough.

Mould came back so I've now brought this into the house so I can attack it with more cleaners and keep it dry.

Bottom of the panel felt wet but I've inspected the vapour barrier and it's well sealed so I think this is just caused by general condensation from the colder weather and the car not being used.

After a day or 2 the windows started misting up slightly even though the car is just sat outside. I'm assuming these water droplets form in the car and then stay there and therefore it just gets more and more damp inside.

I'll give the door card a going over with various anti bacterial cleaners and then refit.

party

I like them…but my ocd would make me match the mirrors and decals.

Are you happy with them?
