Hi. Found this motor about three months ago in a shed. I brought a vw engine from a chap who has a small collection of cars and got talking to him, as you do. He said they are all for sale..... 😁 👍

Remember the Clio Williams on here a few year back, rotten as a pear underneath.

It's crazy, I had no intention of buying any sort retro/classic car tbh. But this truly was a gem of a find. I've always liked hot hatches tho. It's no 181 and has covered just over 9000 mls. Still on original tyres with factory air. No one has ever sat in the back and the boot has never been used. I'll put up more pics for you all if you would like to see them. Hopefully someone could give me some pointers on moving forward with the car.

I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but 'factory air' in the tyres is an interesting idea... How would one even begin to confirm that was the case? I believe tyres/wheels naturally leak air over time as the rubber isn't 100% air tight?

Yeah good point about the air thing. Nice idea though. Do these cars come up on PH often?

These really are lovely bits of kit had a William's 2 in the early 2000s the handling was spot on enough poke to be fun I had a scorpion exhaust and a piper cross filter.Only thing in my case to watch is the rear arches mine blistered and had section cut out with new them sprayed again plus the decals were hard to get back then. The prices on these have gone a bit bonkers like a lot of stuff of late saw one with a lot more mileage than yours up for 29k.Was you in the right place at the right time and grab a steal on it ?.
