My old Clio Williams no.123 had a VLP registration.

Absolutely great cars, though my (now) wife really disliked the gold wheels.
I own it now

Not at all. You certainly used the car for what it was designed to do! More pics of 0062 please! 💪

Small world, shown in one post.

Cracking car OP. As others state, putting some miles on it won't have any baring on it's appeal. If say you just had 50 miles a month of fun blasts in it that would equate to 600 miles a year, 6000 a decade. Have some fun in it, what it was built for.

+1 for some sort of protection. Rear arches used to go, I also had the inside of the arch rust through towards the rear seats. Also the sills. I’d get the alloys coated too, I seem to recall the Williams wheels suffered from corrosion?
Basically dip the whole car in sealant.

Fitted the Williams 2 seats and blue carpet into my valver (1.8 16v) still the most comfortable seats I’ve ever sat in.
That engine bay was a b***h to work in too, skinned my hands more times than I can count especially around that inlet manifold.

Great find OP that’s a one in a million

It's crazy, I had no intention of buying any sort retro/classic car tbh. But this truly was a gem of a find. I've always liked hot hatches tho. It's no 181 and has covered just over 9000 mls. Still on original tyres with factory air. No one has ever sat in the back and the boot has never been used. I'll put up more pics for you all if you would like to see them. Hopefully someone could give me some pointers on moving forward with the car.
Wow, that is a mega find, wish I was you - have been looking for a proper low miler for yonks. Definitely get it serviced and on the road for a (light) going over!

Hi. The chap I brought it from kind of knew that this car was a future classic and actually brought it as an investment. I got to say it wasn't cheap, however I would of paid more for it if I had to.

This press release poster was given to the chap I brought the Williams from by the dealership. You can see the deposit he paid on the back, £250. That was in August 93.He had to wait until February 94 for it to arrive!
