Fantastic work, bravo. The only thing stopping me doing the same is a lack of time, skill, patience and money.

Beautiful! cloud9

I drove one of these when I was 17 or 18. I sooo wanted one, but just couldn't afford one in 87 / 88.

That does look fabulous!
I'm guessing that in 20 years time it will be a 30 grand car, if not sooner!

Just utterly stunning , you deserve a medal for saving this one. Glad you had the time, patience and money to see this one through. Must be the best in the world now.

Is that Christchurch pictured for the car show? If so, I'll keep an eye out.

Thanks everyone for the great comments, it’s really nice to see people appreciating the car and work that’s gone into it.

Yes it is Christchurch, I’m trying to get out and enjoy the car as much as possible (weather dependant) so you may well see it around.

I thought I recognised it as Christchurch. I grew up in Northbourne & West Parley... not too far away. smile

I wonder then, if the car's local too, was the original dealer Modern Lights?
