Well there a potential buyer coming to look at the car on Wednesday, mixed feelings about selling it but needs must.

I do have a bit of a trip on Tuesday to drop off a coffee machine for repair, I wonder if it will be the last one in my ownership?

One of those things, I’d rather sell it now vs sell it when I really need to and take a lower price. If it does end up
Going next week I’ll be back in one in due time.

Me too! It’s up for £58k ish, so it’s keenly priced.

The LC is not best suited to take a Sage Barista Express in a box. Can’t fit it in the boot or on the back seat. Looks like it will be riding shotgun with me on Monday.

And sold (provisionally) likely to be collected next week. Sad day but ultimately the right call when things are looking uncertain financially.

Congrats on the sale, sorry about the circumstances though. It sounds like you made a good decision in the end. Good luck!

Sad you had to let her go. Better to have loved and lost..... Also, you can always buy another one day

I think it's the closest I'll get to owning a v8 Aston Martin without worry about the reliability or servicing costs
Definitely the way to look at an LC, a Japanese Aston Martin, but in many ways better. As an example, I sat in a Vantage the other day, the one with the Merc engine. The interior was dreadfully bland. An LC has a very special cockpit. Then there's Lexus Relax, a manufacturer warranty of 10 years 100,000 miles - renewed every time you service with Lexus. You're probably never going to need it, I've never heard of the 5.0 Lexus V8 having issues.

Agreed, the Aston doesn’t make a compelling purchase imo.

I’ll be removing the valve controller if anyone fancies one.

Bound to be someone on the OC that wants it smile (Or the PH'er on here with the LC Luxury spec?)

Sorry you sold your LC Lincoln. Sent PM re valve controller.

Apart from a trip to cotswolds my car hasnt been out much, reluctant to drive it in the rain - probably as Ill end up wanting to wash it and we are still hose pipe banned :-).

Rear and quarter glass I had tinted which is great, adds a bit of drama to the cabin with less light in the back and cannot be seen in from the outside at the rear now.

Still happy with my audio after that DSP upgrade. Will look at bass in the rear later.

And that’s all she wrote folks. Very sad to see her drive away.

...an RC-F would make an acceptable short term alternative hehe

Whilst it is sad I know it’s the right call, received official confirmation that my role is to be eliminated. No Job and a LC 500 sadly doesn’t make sense.
