Sounds like the ships probably sailed for 3 packs up front - unless the 3rd top module could fit across at the back against the bulkhead.

FWIW below is one side of the motor mount to original chassis twinc mounting, with a rubber isolator.
I also later added a wire 'safety strap' in case my torque calcs were out for the rubber.

AND … YOU are doing a brilliant ’proper’ ‘better than new’ restoration. Mines just a semi-reversible conversion of an old elan, warts, patina and all :-)
