Thanks! Yes my 335d will be going, I will miss it a lot it was just superb.

The B3 S Touring is a 1 owner car from new. I have kept in touch with Gary Lott (Alpina GB Brand Manager) for over 2.5 years in search for my ideal Alpina. I’m one of those tossers who would wait forever for the right spec.

What makes this car very special is that it’s the only Tanzanite Blue of the 12 which came to the UK. Colour breakdown below,

Tanzanite Blue x 1
Mediterranean Blue x 1
Alpina Green II x 3
Alpina Blue II x 4
Grigio Telesto x 1
Nardo Grey x 1
Carbon Black x 1

I have a sneaky suspicion this is the only car of the 12 in the UK to have the Lavalina II which costs £7,600. I shall check this with Gary.

Below is a quick guide to the difference between Lavalina I & Lavalina II. Should keep things entertaining as I have 2 young kids who love cake.

Here's a rubbish picture. Doesn't do it justice.

I’d love to congratulate you but I’ve been looking for one for a long time, and as that is the spec I’m after, all I can do is give you a begrudgingly jealous “well done” between gritted teeth.
Awesome find and purchase being serious biggrin

This looks lovely, particularly the interior. Looking forward to hearing how you get on with it. Whats the character of the engine like? I run a c63 (w204) as a family car and love the noise, but everything else (particular rarity/subtlety) about this looks much more than 8 years better. I'd love one at some point.

Congrats!

That's an epic spec wagon.

When ordering new, Lavalina would be a must for me.

Incredible purchase Peetee well done, the perseverance well and truly paid off securing a spec of Alpina like that!
People generally don’t realise the bonkers figures of a B3 S either. F80 owners especially..
Given Alpina has now gone semi-skimmed under the BMW umbrella this will considered one of the ‘last’ of the greats along with the G series.
The 335d stage 2 is a fantastic car but as a car enthusiast this going to reward you in a different tier for driving experience. Figures only ever tell half a story. Looking forward to hearing all about Alpina ownership!

Congratulations OP - lovely car. My boss had the Nardo grey car of the 12 you listed - absolutely blistering performance. May you have many happy times ahead with yours.

That looks stunning

Having washed mine twice in the last 7 months, all I can say is be sure to enjoy those wheels while they are clean, they are utterly hideous to wash. That aside, the perfect car for any trip.

If you haven’t fitted the brake pads by now a set of ATE ceramics are excellent and produce next to no dust.
