That's just on the outer layer of the laminate. An injection with 'glue' and it'll barely be visible, won't be a problem and you'll forget about it soon enough.
It's already started to spread a little, so I think it's curtains for the screen...andy43 said:
I think I should offer to take over ownership of the LC.
First the bonnet and now this.
It’s for the best. With time, you’ll understand.
That's awfully decent of you, can I drop it round later? First the bonnet and now this.

Mate you do seem to have the worst luck!
I wouldn't mind if I had been flooring it, but I was in a queue and the stone came from the other side - nice score in the ceramic coating on the bonnet, but not touched the paint.bolidemichael said:
The equivalent of a cracked nail to you LC luvvies
On to more positive things, I went to Simply Japanese at Beaulieu on Sunday - there was a huge turnout!
Generally some very, very nice cars there and a huge variety - some real rarities too! The atmosphere was great, albeit a few dheads who couldn't resist revving the nuts off their cars inspite of the organisers begging them not to!
Link to the sort of official video thing:
Some pics! (have moved to a new hosting thing and it's not working how I expected, so trying the forum hosting for the first time!)

Gutted to hear of your windscreen Brett.
Was nice to meet up with on Sunday at Simply Jap.
It’s a stunning car you have and deserved all its attention it has lavished on it.

Thanks Ben - really need to get some video/pics on here of your RCF, it's a stunner! Was nice to meet up with on Sunday at Simply Jap.

Update:
Windscreen was finally sorted a couple of weeks ago, took a long time but it's sorted!
Despite initially thinking the job was top class, I've since found the rubber on the firewall is now torn at one end, and the drivers side windscreen trim has a tendancy to pop up. Not ideal!
I think I'll wait until it's due the first service and ask Lexus to check/fix both items - will also see if they can sort out the boulder damage to the bonnet. If it was just a couple of chips I'd be happy to leave it, but the dent pisses me off!
Will be going for it's last outing for awhile on Saturday to the F club meet, then into storage as the new garage is finally getting built now! (..and I'm planning to make it as nice as possible!)

A few pics from the F-club meet below, some mine - some from the other members.
Car is now in storage as the garage build is finally underway, hoping to have it constructed before the end of the year - then just need to get the flooring down, electrics in etc etc!
Trawling the internet and flea markets for signs etc to go in there, found some genuine Lexus dealer signs on eBay...but they are in Scotland!

I hate having Windscreens replaced. They never fit genuine ones and never do as good a job as the factory, probably because the trims are not designed to come off and go back on, atleast not without replacing the fastening hardware, which they never do.
Last one I had done was on a Transporter. Trims not flush, loads of condensation that never happened before, more road noise, grr.
I've seen in the USA that some cars had loose A pillar trim from the factory, which seems very un-Lexus!
