and to wrap up yesterday's adventures, today the brakes were all bled and now we have fresh fluid in all the lines.
Slight overkill in that i used my stash of RBF600 but i couldn't be bothered to trapes to Halfrauds

took the full 2 litres until it came out clean, i'd say it's been a few years since it was changed lol

as said yesterday the wheels needed some love, knowing at the back of my mind that i can't make a silk purse i had to accept that i have to live with the finish until i get them stripped properly but at least they are clean. There was no point applying after coatings etc..... There must be at least 4 tyres worth of old sticky crud from previous tyre changes...

but at least they are clean....

just now need to wait for the arrival of the correct front discs and pads...

you know how it goes... wake up, you look out the window and see a lovely sunny day and the first thoughts are "i know, i'll wash the cars and have a relaxing day doing me stuff...."

go out to SWMBO's car and greeted by some scum bag yet again having dragged the side of the car, less than 2 months from having the exact same spot painted. It's not like where it's parked is bad, it's a bloody straight road with a huge amount of space to get a bus sideways whilst doing a back flip....

FFS.... seriously took the jam out of my donut.

both cars wash and then drag out the buffing paraphernalia....

all removed and thankfully nothing remains..... what looks like a scratch on the arch crease is just a reflection btw.

this is why we shouldn't have nice things...!!!

in other news i managed the major service last week and was pleasantly surprised to see date codes on the filters showing "2021" which makes a refreshing change and absolutely zero oil leaks underneath.

Also changed the thermostat as the A4 was taking a bit longer than it should to warm up on first starting, now gets there as intended...
