Didn't 'H20 COS' Cosworth 205 Dimma feature as a resto on here or another forum?

Remember these in the late eighties/early nineties, they had as much presence as supercars, jaw dropping.

I recently purchased a genuine Dimma Turbo Technics 205 Gti, which had been sat in a barn for the last 17 years.

It is now undergoing a full nut and bolt restoration by Terry Pankhurst. The same guy who built it 35 years ago!

If anyone has any genuine parts for sale that would help complete the project please feel free to get in touch.

I'll see if my mate has any bits as he Dad was the main 205 man back in the day and ran the peugeot GTi owners club which was funded by Peugeot. I know he had a lot of Dimma and Gutmann parts. Unfortunately he passed away from Covid in 2020 but i think my mate still has some of the stuff. Ask Terry if he remembers the name Steve Pilcher. Guy was a legend and had some very famous 205's back in the early 90's.

This is lovely to see.

May I ask, what colour is this? Looks quite like Sigma Blue (MONQ) from the Ph1 306 era? Or was it a special Dimma colour?
It’s called Curacao blue, it was specific for the Dimmas back in the day.

That would be fantastic! Parts are so hard to come by these days.

Fantastic car, looks really well finished, what are the mechanical issues?

Brief update on the car after getting all the cosmetics out of the way at Dimma UK, off it went to Pug1off for some mechanical work. Having a top end rebuild, new silicon hoses all round, new stainless exhaust amongst a host of other bits it’s finally home, all set up and driving beautifully!
I never got my hands on a turbo technics back in the day, but this thing seriously pulls 😃

If it was taken on an iphone it might be incompatible file type with the recent hosting upgrade

Apologies gents, I was trying to upload a video that was taken by Pug1off but it appears unsuccessful. I’ve exchanged for a picture.
It will be on show at Max Power Reunion and also Players Classic at Goodwood for anyone who would like a good look up close.
Appreciate the interest and follow of the build 💙

Only just seen this thread. Awesome car OP, up there with one of Mt favourite things ever. Always wanted a Dimma 306 but never found one at the right time/price.
