I love these and they look so right on the road.
I was looking forward to seeing the grey wheels!
They are definitely a car that is well suited to UK roads - people either "get them" or they don't, Lotus owners do, Porsche owners often do not understand why you did not buy a PorscheI was looking forward to seeing the grey wheels!
They are fun at all speeds, do the daily trundling around without problem but love being thrown down a damp, badly surfaced country road too - not sure if there is anything like it out there - the Emira is much bigger (10cm wider and 23cm longer) and heavier (300kg is a lot), possibly the GR86 is most similar in thinking

OP, got to say yours is the best-looking Alpine I've seen yet. That side profile with the new wheels looks absolutely phenomenal. Perfect colour, wheel size and stance.
Thank you, trying to take the less is more approach with it. Still debating whether to go for AST coilovers, dont think the appearance needs to change any more Edited by Andy665 on Tuesday 30th April 23:50
Short notice trip with two fellow A110 owners to the Elan Valley and then out to Aberystwyth via National Cycle Route 81, no moving footage as did not have time to prepare properly but great day out - 220 miles covered at 35mpg and a lot of great roads covered which really allowed the cars to shine

Awesome report and pictures. I so want one of these cars - will happen one day hopefully! Agree comments v Lotus and Porsche owners. Lotus owners are in a similar boat to Alpine owners having forsaken the German default option and gone "leftfield". I am sure they appreciate the attention to weight saving and the ride quality too! Porsche owners are a funny bunch IMO. Incredibly defensive of anything which is seen as a competitor to their beloved piece of prized German engineering, which is strange in a way, because the Alpine I would have thought is the sort of car your average Cayman owner would really enjoy!
