Sierra Cosworth trackcar

Had my old Sierra trackcar professionally shot last week. I have a few sample shots from the photographer that I was sooo pleased with I thought I would post them on here.





It was not shot on the moon, but on a rather nasty day at Brunters. But with some trick lighting and awesome photographer skills I think its come out superbly!

Thanks guys, glad you like my Dagenham Dustbin! Its actually been converted to 4WD which is the coolest mod in my eyes! Its run a Dyno proven 600+bhp for a few years now but was laggy as hell as its still just 2.0 engine. 2 months ago we put on a smaller GT30 Turbo and so its probably no more than 560-570bhp but comes on boost so much lower and has a mental 2.5bar boost spike in the midrange so it rockets out of corners now. Less is more I have now found out!

Obviously pretty much every part of the suspension, transmission and of course brakes is far from standard as well.

No, I did a few days at Combe. Like the Rallyday, but not that one.

Thanks mate. I will ask for the photos from the shoot. He used some mad lenses and it looked mental. Its pretty cool inside, stripped out and bare but with some cool touches like this pod that I had made instead of the heater vent. Looks like Ford made it.... well not really but you know what I mean!

I am a huge fan of the three door Sierra. Is the car built around a roadcar or a motorsport shell...? Stunning piece of kit...! The Escort's nice too, but the Sierra is the daddy...!

Big intercooler yes! its the 5th one the cars had over the years! Kept on having to go bigger and bigger as car got more and more power. Cooling 2.5 Bar of boost on track is no easy job. The ProAlloy one on it now is spot on though.

Broke my back in that 'little' off... All mended now though. The Fuel cap survived as is on new car!

Sierra used to be the same colour as the Escort as well....

the car looks fantastic, the photographer needs to learn how to hold his camera horizontal though unless brunters really is on a slant but the car looks fantastic, did I say that already? fantastic!
