Very nice FRST, can I ask why you went for the 1.8 block & not 2.0?
210bhp @ 14.5psi is very healthy, what pistons did you run? I would'nt fancy putting 17psi through standard ones!

ETA
Do'h! just re read it...low comp!

Nice lightweight in the back ground!

Hi I get to drive those sorts of cars just about everyday they really are very good. You're very lucky. I reckon they are just as fast as a 335i but lack that important thing for me the sound, but that relentless torque is just amazing it certainly feels just as quick as the new M3 anyway.
I have been considering getting one as an everyday car but the insurance is a bit expensive considering I'm 19 and would just be mad spending £12,700 for the insurance on my Porsche and a grand more for insuring the Beemer might wait until I've got a few more no claims and a bit older I think.

Ahhh Carlos, makes a difference for you to be mentioning that your dad bought the car.

How are you?

Yes the Fiesta RS turbo had a healthy power and torque output, went very well. The previous owner decided on the 1.8 block to be different.

Alex, i mentioned on PF that my father bought the 335 originally. IO had full use of it from brand new as my own car. Now i own it myself so thats pretty cool. I do love the car.

Im fine thanks, how are you?

Thats a very nice car. The coupes look much better than the saloons and the touring imo. I suppose it will be developing around 340bhp ish after a remap.

Nice motor would rather have a touring or a saloon myself but still one hell of a good looking car! May i just say by christ thats an awful lot of horses and torque for a denzel!

Rather like the fester rst a much underrated car that seems to live in the shadow of its Escort forerunners!! Good effort mate!

Nice car there sir. The new 3 series coupe has really grown on me smile It has to be one of the quickest diesels out there.

Who cares less about whether your father bought it for you!! my father bought me a car when I was younger = result smile

you should try and take your car to Le Mans - plenty of long clean motorways to strech its legs!!

i think the 335d IS THE quickest diesel available at the moment, i test drove a A5 Coupe 3.0 tdi and it was much slower. Its quicker than most petrol cars. The 335d's performance is on par with the last generation M3 (e46) and the current 335i!

My father did not buy it for me, i just adopted it. But since than have actually purchased it myself off my father!

I have thought about going to le-mans this year for the first time, will you be going?

Looks very nice - I got an old E34 TeDiouS 525 that seems to rumble along well, quick for an old non-DI wiesel anyhow. Like the RST too - keep thinking about replacing the diseasel with one.... biggrin
