This thread has cheered me up no end. 
Got dropped like a stone by an old boy in a 335d estate a couple of weeks ago. A very friendly tussle followed by him giving it the beans on a dual carriageway and giving me a big grin as he went past. His wife in the passenger seat looked mortified!
There i was upshifting at the red line in a reasonably quick hatch and getting shown a clean pair of heels by 2 oap's in a diesel estate.
Dont feel so bad now after seeing those dino figures...
