Hi guys.

I'm new around here so thought i'd stick some pics of my car up and a full spec to see what you all think of it. Now i know there will be some Corsa haters out there, so i'm ready for bad comments on how i'm a 'chav' etc. wink But before you jump to too many conclusions, here's the spec:

Nice, what's getting the power down with an open diff like? What's with the accralite pistons is it just for the extra displacement? If I remember correctly weren't the original pistons forged and would cope with around 250 bhp?

Geeza, Motor is looking good. I can vouch for this car, it does go well. Was featured to in Total Vauxhall mag too.

Nice to see the spec written up too mate, makes you really think how much money goes into making a decent car, and from the spec thats what you have got..!

Have fun in the rain tonight wink

pipe with return usally, with tiny holes runs up arm and back, all holes facing the screen obviously

mainly done, as corsa jets are in the middle of the bonnet, and look terrible

ill answer this, as dont know where jay is

the pistons were put in when the block was rebored during its rebuild as is was showing signs of wear, not actully put in for performance reasons really, but the block was taken out to 86.5mm, (2050cc) and the standard pistons and rings are obviously no good for this

Thanks for clearing that up Jr, you probobly know more about the engine than me laugh Nice to see you over here too, didn't realsie you were on here.

The washer jets are now located on the wiper arms them selves. Makes the bonnet look less cluttered and smoother looking.

Cheers Carl, although even with all that spec, its no match for the 335d laugh And it didn't rain last night :P

I must admit thats a very neat Corsa you got there, nothing overly Chav about it in my opinon.

I`m sure its fun at traffic lights against other 'bigger' cars who think they will own you.

Thanks Jim smile In my opinion it isn't overly chav either, but you do get the few narrow minded people branding every corsa owner one.

Yeah it is fun at traffic lights, although i cant remember the last time i took it out for a spirited drive. laugh Just wainting for a nice sunny dry day to get her out the garage again.

It could do with a limited slip diff tbh, it'll light up the inside trye round pretty much any bend in 2nd/3rd. (or just a lighter right foot laugh)

Thanks. No, no rubbing at all. Was just a pic to show my newly painted inner arches and brakes.

February 10th is the next outing for the Corsa up to Santa Pod. Hoping to break the 14 second barrier.
