My new Ignis Sport

I know cross posting is frowned upon but I figure not everyone visits the photography forum so I'm sharing my new car here as well!
I decided to take my 205 off the road for a little while as I decide what to do with it, and whether to keep it. In the meantime, I needed something to tool around in and I've always fancied an Ignis Sport. I recall evo reviewing it a couple of years back and liking it a lot.
Love or hate the looks, you can't help but enjoy the drive, it's like a go kart.
Seems the previous owner upgraded the brakes to some vented/grooved numbers, and it's running Yokohama Advan tyres, which make it fun in the corners. A tad more body roll than I'm used to, debating putting some slightly stiffer/lower springs on it to curb that tendency.
I think part of what drew me to the car was that I've only ever seen one on the road since I saw it in evo, which must have been 3 or 4 years ago. I suspect this also speaks volumes as to the aesthetic appeal the car has.
I've owned my 205 GTI for 3 years now, and it's only once let me down due to the garage (pug main dealer) fitting the wrong spark plugs. That being said - I've spent the whole time I've had it waiting for it to go wrong in a big way. The Suzuki doesn't have the visceral qualitiy of the 205, you don't feel as connected nor does it handle as directly. You can't attack corners with the same kind of commitment that the 205 allows.
On the other hand, it doesn't have the same feeling of fragility - being 10 years younger I'd hope not I suppose, but I don't think the age is all there is to it.
The pug will almost certainly stay in some form or another. Quite what that form is I haven't decided. Uprgrade the brakes and suspension and stick with the standard 8v engine, or go for some sort of engine swap... A Xantia turbo seems like a nice idea

Brill photos, I think these cars are great.
I tried to persuade my mate to buy one of these instead of his 1.5 Swift - its a much more pleasing shape and the Std Recaro's and wheels are a great little touch.
Built, presumably, as a bit of a homologation throwback to these little beasties, common in the Junior Super 1600 class I think -
