Hello all

Im on Nightshift security at the moment and its Dire, so i thought id join up on here (as recommended by a mate)

Thought i would show you my car that is currently on its way from japan.

(Thanks to www.privateimports.co.uk)

Its a 1998 EK9 with Lots of nice Mugen Bits biggrin

Mugen Brakes
Mugen Braided brake Hoses
Mugen AntiRoll bars
Mugen Manifold and
a Mugen Exhaust system

These photos are of the car in japan biggrin

For those who dont know much about these, they are the First "type-R" that Honda made and from the 1.6 Engine you get 185bhp as standard. They also come standard with a LSD and the handling out of the box is Amazing!

Anyway all comments welcome biggrin

What he meant was that any other civic type-r is poor in comparison to this one. wink

Quality choice sir. I'd love to get a passenger ride in one of these to see how it compares to the Teg.

Love it! Fantastic car, a proper race car for the road driving

PS. the EP3 type-R wasn't all that bad (at least not when compared to the fn2 vomit)

Another great ctr, although this is the FD2 rather than the crappy FN2 hatch we get here in the UK.

yeah, Evo Loved it in their Ecoty 2007 spread... it whooped some very tasty kit. Practical too, 4 door saloon...

Why have Honda decided that we no longer deserve drivers' cars in the UK? There's only the s2000 left afaik...

The first time I saw and heard one of these was in Budapest in '99.

The driver pulled it all the way and the guy I was with couldn't believe his ears: "When does that engine effing stop!!!"

Great car mate.

Looks good, always liked these!

Did you mean first Civic type-r made or first "Type-R"? Because Honda made the NSX Type-R mid-92 and Integra Type-R late 95!

Looks braw nonetheless! Bet that twin-loop sounds awesome!
