Was piloted back from Silverstone last night in my newly brake fettled old girl. 95k miles and yet the thunder North was like Thor's first skirmish.

It's stability is directly proportional to 'raption.

I'm looking at a Turner Motorsport software upgrade, limitiere au revoir and allegedly +23 brake: any punters heard of/tried one?

I thought mine was low milage, but looks like yours only has 29,000 miles on it, which is very low for one of these. Normally they've mid to high milages on them, even the late ones.

I'd love a drive in one of these. But i've made do with second best, which was a good passenger ride in one. Loved it biggrin Understated but classy looks. Goes like the clappers and makes all the right noises. All wrapped up in a totally practical package. Nicely built too..
Great cars

Hi,

Yes, it was 29000 miles, however out for a drive on Saturday afternoon, trying to find Scotlands best roads, and I passed the 30 000 miles mark.

I'm getting an average of about 19.6mpg at the moment, most of the time I'm just pottering about, however there is the odd country blast too. I've seen 29mpg on the computer on a long motorway run. Your right tho JeffM3, it spends alot of time at the local Shell station. It doesnt seem to have the biggest tank either. My E34 had a bigger fuel tank.

Thanks for the comments.

Stunning location for the schnell.

Mine's just registered exactly 99k as it rolled up today.

I keep reminding myself how sensational the turn in is for such a thunderous great rorter: that B10 V8 I was in recently may have had similar straight line thump but it lies flailing in the wake of this SOB through the wiggles.

It might be slow in, fast out, in the time honoured trad but it's as satisying as firing canon at lines of rebelling Roundhead.

The APs up front remain the default mod, however.wink
