Ah no, no googling for me

I live about 1 mile up the road

out of interest, how did you find the quality of their work and was the price competitive?

Here it is now fresh from the paintshop baking oven in Continental orange (107).. still needs rear quarter windows and wash/wax and some details. I am sure some of the purists will have a heart attack over this but this car is such a screwball so intent is more valuable than originality I think. The car is '71 car still and the frontslam panel is still for a longbonnet, We have used modified brackets on the bumper to make it fit.

The 15"x 9" and 11" rims have been fitted now wearing TB15 tyres (Historic treadpattern), the wheel arch extensions have been done. Some rust work had to be taken care of from where the rain gutters used to be (shaved off some time in its life) and then new paint layed down. Also a replica RSR backbox has been fitted with race headers (no heater anyway). Engine-wise its a 2.8ltr that has 240bhp currently and gearbox is a 901 magnesium case with gearing adjusted for 135mph in top for uk historic rally and sprints. It has got an MSA logbook so should be doing a few sprints this year when time permits.

Trick man, Got to admire the Germans for something! Hate to compliment but they certainly build great cars and you have done it justice!

wavey Carsten,

Glad to see the beastie, it looks even better than I had hoped bow

Will be great to see it in action at a few sprints this year, let me know when you've booked anything and I'll tag along. Although seeing those pictures has given me inspiration to get my 70's Road Rocket ( hehe ) up and running too!
