I have to say I preferred the previous mini, personally, but both are lovely.

What was the retail on one of those last minis, and what are they worth now? Must be pretty much depreciation-proof?

retail was about 10-12 depending on spec.

retail on them now is 3-7 ish dependent on spec and condition.

they rot for england and can have a lot of problems with stuff like gearboxes due to the factory not really caring when they assembeled them.

they only thing to look at when buying them is body condition, once rot appears around the windscreen area its going cost a fortune to fix!

Ah right, I thought they were a lot less to buy brand new. I'd love a mini, but I know sod all about cars, and don't want to spend my time/money fixing them either. Shame, as they're really nice.

Hmmm... Where can I get ALL the info I need on a mini? Browsing AutoTrader shows you can pick them up on a late plate for... well, not very much! I want one!
