I was contemplating downgrading to a 1.8 TDCi Sport one of these just the other day!

I like the outside, but have never been keen on the Mk1 Focus inside.

For what they are, which is a cheapish family hatchback, it is fantastic. Having driven the new model (excluding the ST obviously) i can honestly say that the mk1 is a really involving little car and a better drive. Getting out of it and into the BMW, you do realise just how will built the BMW is though.

With regards to the interior, i quite like it, i felt that it remained quite modern looking even though essentially its a 10 year old design, certainly more exciting than comparable Astra etc. But matter of opinion and all that.

I still miss it, but do still occasionally get to drive it.
