I like the look of the VXR's exterior - good stance, bodykit well suited to the lines of the rest of the car. However, I have to say I think the interior looks pretty cheap compared to the ST's. The grade of the plastics, the quality of the leather used etc.. just do not look like they have been built to last. All in my opinion obviously.

On a positive note I think that blue is the best colour for an Astra VXR smile

Have thought that myself - although I really like the Recaro Sportster CS which I think are the same as in the new RS Focus

The top of the dash is quite cheap in feel - no argument from me on that TBH, wont know about leather until I've had it a while although it does seem tougher than that used in the MK4 so far

I'd have to agree with you about the leather being of better quality than that used on the Mk4 but to be fair it would have to be - the leather in the GSi Turbo's is awful! vomit

You'll have to keep us updated as to how your's stands up to prolonged use smile

nice car, but prefer the look of an st, and the interior is of much better quality, find a pic of an st3 thats not all pixellated like that one someone put up. the st is much better inside yes, which is why many car magazines compared it to that of an audi or bmw in quality. but i do like the vxr`s in general, but also what is that sound when boosting? is that the turbo? sounds horrible. nice car though, these are the only bad points i have come across interior quality and sound.
