I've been thinking about getting something Sevenesque for a few years, and finally succumbed. Couldnt justify the Tax, Insurance and replacement costs of my S Works fetteld MINI when only doing 1500 miles a year. This makes infinitely more financial sense and is VERY different to drive. Its like learning all over again, which is actually proving to be quite fun!

Picked it up from Yorkshire British GP day and drove her back through the wind and rain to Portsmouth - didn't get too wet biggrin but did go a bit deaf even with a helmet on - must buy an I-pod or somethingwink.

Many thanks to Richard the previous owner who showed me the ropes and suffered me stalling the bloody thing A LOT on my first go...She is a credit to you.

MK Indy R1:

I have a new carbon fibre aeroscreen to fit, and there are a few bits I'd like to change to personalise her, but other than that I'm more than happy...biggrin

Lovely - I was looking for a black one originally. Something about the Yamaha Orange caught me though. I'm planning to change the cycle wings for CF and hopefully get some black team dynamics for it.

Biggest problem with them is there is always something to fiddle with biggrin

I need to get new seats for mine - just missed 2 on Ebay frown

Also, could you do me a massive favour if you get a chance tomorrow and take a close up pic of how your screen sits on the scuttle?

I think they are jsut the standard MK GRP ones - the drivers has had a bit of fiddling in the past and has a few too many holes and cracks. Nothing to make it uncomfortable just not aesthetically pleasing.

I also need t0 source a different diff as this one tops out at 115 - no good for the quicker tracks frown

Oh and its an 04 R1. Had a zx9r in it before...
