This isn't Andy from Fulford by any chance? If it is and you fancy a blast out with a local M3 e46 let me know.

I've recently bought my M3 and am really enjoying it, although I'd like something special in the garage to play with on nice dry weekends and for trackdays. I bought a new westfield when i was 24, living at home and could afford to run two cars. Eventually I'd like a 911 or a quick Caterham. Drove a csr260 at Bruntingthorpe and it was mind blowing. Lotus elise maybe, preferably something that isn't going to depreciate massively. Always liked the group B inspired rally cars and think the integrale looks the best.If we get a nice dry weekend and you fancy a run out let me know.

Gone but not forgotten. Gave some ricers a run for their money in Sprint competitions wink

Definitely a car to "drive before you die".

Ah brings back fond, fond memories, as a fresh graduate working at Land Rover about 11 years ago, I decided I was going to import either the E30 M3 Evo or an Integrale Evo 2...

Without telling the bank manager I went over to Germany in search of my first REAL toy, I eventually put a deposit down on a heavily modified EVO 2 in red, it looked standard from the outside (except for the exhaust), but it was an absolute beast and so delicate to drive.

I owned it for about 6 years, and although I view it through rose tinted glasses as I was only 23 at the time, it was without doubt the best car I have ever driven or owned..........

Crikey - thread started in 2008! Still got it. Still love it. Still wouldn't sell it.

Some photos from the couple of times it has appeared in magazines during my ownership....

Very nice, best looking car ever. I had a nero black 16 v around five years ago. I purchased it from Keith at auto integrale. It was a non sunroof model, Jap import some years ago, no rust. Always wanted one. I sold it to buy my first TVR.

Gorgeous

I saw a dark blue one in London a couple months ago, not sure what evo it was but it looked immaculate, haven't seen one in years and couldn't believe how small & squat it looked in traffic! Funny watching all the blokes heads turn on the bus! I think everyone who's into cars wants one.

Lotto win and I'm getting one smile

Look forward to seeing the new motor. Yes we will have to have Arun out sometime. I am at Cholmondley pageant of power next weekend for 3 days. Looking forward to it.
