Now then guys and gals. Long time reader, but first time poster-ish..(User name is from my CTR days lol) Big fan of the forum and hope to be a regular poster as I am on many other forums.
Anyway, thought i'd lob a couple of pics of my VW on here for you boys to have a buchers at..

Had her for about 6 months now and am chuffed to bits with it so far (had a few VAG motors now). Currently running Revo Stage 2 software with Milltek TBE and ITG panel filter, producing 331bhp & 364lb/ft
Anymore Mk5 GTI owners on here?
Anyway feel free to comment (good or bad) and look forward to your thoughts..
Cheers!

Yeah not the best time of year for it... lol
Wheels are Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2's and are some 4-5kgs lighter each corner than the standard rims. So not just cosmetic..

How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?

Well it's a fairly high spec and list price would of been 26.5k, but I didn't pay that. They can be picked up for as little as 15k now (albeit not with high spec)..

Nice. Amazed it makes that much power! How much have you gained over standard 80bhp or so?

About that.. Although it is 100 going off manufactures figs, they seem to make more than 230 when on the rollers.. More like 245-50bhp.. Been seen on many RR's all over the country..

Yeah I think I've heard/read that too. So the gain is literally from exhaust/induction/remap, that is all?

I like the look! smile

I've got a std mk5 3dr GTi. I think your alloys suit the car IMO. I may get some for mine eventually, but first upgrade is the dreadful audio.

Yes mate, although the induction is only a panel filter, not a full intake job.. But either way, still little mods for a 11 sec 0-100 car.. wink Just a very detuned engine out the box..

I know what you mean mate. VAG stereos are normally very good even in standard form. But I think the Mk5 missed out for some reason.. Although mine has the latest touch screen DVD/Nav RNS 510 system, the speakers aren't up to much really..

And to think it cost me £8000 to go from 250 -> 310 smash

You got your RR graph online at all?

Looks great - White car with black alloys is the way to go - very RS.

Awesome output too! Does it not struggle getting the power down? Thought about a LSD?

nice car, would be nice to see what it looked like with white or silver or even an anthracite coloured set of wheels though ,not that it looks bad i just dont think black wheels suit many cars very well.

and ive said it before and i`ll say it again the tartan seats are horrid, i wonder how much would a set of leathers would be or a retrim.

but all in a very very nice car, bet it flies.

0-60 has been recorded at Bruntingthorpe @ 5.07 (which could be bettered IMO) http://s79.photobucket.com/albums/j146/robintegra/... but i'm not really that bothered about 0-60 figures, 1/4 mile or 0-100 is better test of a cars performance IMO (13.2 @ 107mph).

This was it when standard... But I just don't think white and silver go IMO and black and white has always been a favourite of mine..

In regards to RR graphs, this is when it was Revo Stage 1 along with Milltek TBE.. ( Haven't got the Stage 2 RR run on scanned format, but will do at some point)..

As regards to traction, it's not actually that bad 2nd gear on. Not brilliant this time of year though, have to say.. lol
