All I can say is: what a hoot! Lots of fun and full of creature comforts too. What more could I ask for?

Here's some night time photos (been playing with HDR for some of them):

The funny patch on the bonnet was frost!

looks really good. my hairdress's got one of these, he loves it, better than a mini cooper apparently, more honest and value for money.

Do they do them in silver?

well i was unsure bout saying it cause i know of the reaction, but as far as hairdressers go hes ace lol hes not even slighty 'ginger beer' either, bit of a nutter actually.

That middle silver one with the stripes looks cool, is it rally prep or just a few spotlights?

whats performance like?

I was only kidding, image doesn't really bother me anyhow.

They're brisk rather than fast, but faster than most things on the road. With the Eagle F1 tyres, corners are great fun though, and you can get some decent lift-off oversteer 205 GTi style.

I have some pictures of me driving it coming up later today.

Really good pics, and a great car. I know a lad who owns one of the original GTi's...absoloute screamer.

Is there much aftermarket support for these, like cams, manifolds etc?

I've got a '08 model in silver, must agree it's brilliant biggrindriving

With a longer 5th gear and a heater that works faster it'll be near perfect!

My friend/'dresser did mention a 6th gear would be welcome, or a longer 5th as you say...

I imagine its about on par with my 87 mr2? Thats brisk rather than fast.. i know what you mean. Your getting about 7.5/8 to 60? top end of 125..? Will you be putting on a nice filter and exhaust? im running eagle f1's as well, they are fantastic, get a bit hot for track days...so im told :-)

Seats look cool!

There's loads of upgrade parts available, including a supercharger kit. I'm not modding mine as it's a daily driver and have a weekend car.
Performance is OK, you can drive the cherries off it and have great fun with it in standard form. It's really good over 4000rpm, engine loves to rev.

Yep, engine loves to rev. Suzuki Sport themselves offer exhaust, intakes, supercharger etc... But I won't be modifying it as its my daily driver and AFAIK it will invalidate the warranty if I do.

A 6th gear, quicker heater and seats that go lower (they're brilliant other than that) would make it perfect for me.

It's very you...

I wouldn't be so worried about an exhaust option, is it from Suzuki themsleves? Either way it shouldn't be a major issue, try asking your dealer what they would / wouldn't honour re warranty.

Are they 1.6 130 brake?

7.5/8 seems very optimistic, id have put it at 9? Pretty sure my mates gf has one?

Yeah, and I think 0-60 is in the upper 8s, but 125 is easily achievable (so i've heard wink ).

quick free piece of advice for this time of year don't use a ice scraper to scrape the glass on these. They migth have improved the glass since but the one I had last year had glass that was so easily scratched. Spray on de-icer the only way to go to save you needing glass replaced. smile
