nice car mate and i hope you look after it because too many of these cars have been thrashed or crashed.
This also might be a good time to say that i have 15 issues of fast ford for sale and i also have a speed freaks china model of an rs500 that hasnt been removed from its box.
if anyone is interested please let me know.

Should have got the escort cosworth imo
Em, most people work on a set budget when buying a car. An Escort Cosworth would be quite a bit more expensive..

That's like you posting up pics of an Escort Cosworth, and me saying "Should have got the new Focus Rs imo"..

Lovely car mate, always good to see another fast ford on the road..

Nice one! Would love to own one of these but I don't think the insurance companies would allow it.

The Escort in the background is a friends 1.4GL estate... However it is actually running a 2.0l zetec engine with webber throttle bodies. Fast and very loud!

Update - car is in at Sitech Racing to get checked out. Despite being in good condition for its age it requires (so far):

Full Service
Engine Setup
Both front calipers refurbished due to non-functioning pistons
New front discs due to pitting
New front pads due to pitting

And it hasn't been road tested yet... jester

I dare say the cobwebs would be dislodged by a little track excursion entitled "Meister Werk-Out" hehe

That's not too bad - just front brake renewal really, perhaps it was sat idle for a long time outside?
The brakes when working OK are fantastic on the 2wders
