I think I do need a reappraisal I seem to be the only guy in the world who came away disapointed.
I think it's a ll relative. For a lot of people the E92 seems to be their first M car. You seem to have been driving various ones for a while and so maybe the intimacy of the old cars is completely lacking. Given a longer time behind the wheel the car really shrinks around you and although there is not too much information coming through the wheel you drive it more by the seat of you pants. Oh, and 8500rpm is also a great party piece.
