Excellent, both looking very tidy, and great to see them looking the way they did when they left the factory!

Yup the XR3's lovely. My mum used to have one in white and I loved being driven around in it!

Your XR3 is fantastic looking! I always wanted one when I was a kid, especially after I got the Scalextric with two XR3's for Christmas (Night Races?).

I'm actually suprised at how small the Escort is next to the Clio, at the time, wasn't the Escort essentially a size up from what the the equivalent of the Clio would have been (I suppose a Fiesta or Polo at the time)?

Again, it is a cracking looking car!

Love the Ford, what's it like to run? could you live with it as a daily? thinking of getting something more retro when I sell my 182

And that reminds me I really must clean my Clio black looks great when done properly

That XR3 looks very nice indeed. Want it. smile

In fact I'm going to buy one as soon as I find one.
Love them in good old retro Sunburst Red.

How many owners does it have? What sort of mileage and history and is it as clean as it looks?

Thanks for all the comments chaps. In response to some of the questions,i don't think i could live with it as a daily runner. It's just that bit too heavy in the steering and it's not the most comfortable of things nowadays.I love it though so would probably give it a try.if i had to!!
It's had 4 owners with myself included and it's done just over 120000 miles, not too bad for a 27 year old car.And yes it is as clean as it looks with just a little ding in the drivers door. There are wee bits and pieces that i'm not quite happy with but i'll have it all sorted out for the summer hopefully.
cheers

Nice fleet. I remember when I was 18, a mate of a mate came round in a sunburst-red XR3, and let me drive it fo the day. I was like a dog with two dicks, I felt like the king of the world crusing round in that thing! Always have happy memories of that car! hehe

Is that an aftermarket exhaust? Thought the standard was smaller than that. Looks good though, love the 182s

God, I had an XR3 20 years ago and it was a pile of sh*te even then! Terrible ride, gutless engine, bad brakes, gearbox and handling - sounded good though.

Nice Clio though. thumbup

Yes it's a magnex stainless system. It's only there because it was cheaper than the standard item from renault.
