Everything about this car suggests I shouldn't like it, but it is absolutely fantastic! Those rims are a bold statement but look really good. I'm developing a soft spot for RX7's and this hasn't helped smile

Hi Mark, can't believe it, I was looking around your car this very afternoon! I know where you work! Looks fantastic - do you take the front plate off when you park up?! I thought the MOT rules are that the wheel rim must fit inside the wheelarch, but looking at your car and reading your posts it must be the edge of the tyre right? Do you notice any adverse handling traits with the stretched tyres?

Cheers for the comments! Again haha.

Frenchy - haha ah the Civic! Looked good but drove fairly... well, bad! Too much camber on the rear wheels, not enough power under the bonnet. Looked bonkers on the move though.

Rastaman - yeah i live just outside the Northants area, was part of a JTCulture/Okashima Project mini meet just over in Milton Keynes. Quite handy being in the Midlands, Santa Pod, Silverstone, Rockingham and Donnington all within an hours reach smile

Rainmaster - ahh what brings you to the land of Bauer Automotive? Nobody should be forced to visit this building haha! Yeah if it's local shows i run without the plate, ideally need a decent numberplate bracket mounting as it just screws into the bumper at the minute sticking at a weird angle.

To be honest i've really not noticed anything too drastic with the stretch tyres. Those who say it's bad etc. probably haven't driven a car with 'em on - I've given the car some serious stick and taken it on track with no 'stretch tyre' problems at all. Ultimately, i will run out of talent way way way before the car ever does, even with stretch tyres and silly ride height which might add 2 tenths to a lap haha.

B4bby - yup they're generic 5x114.3 fitment. Grab a set from rarerims.co.uk, just make sure you get the right offset more than anything. You could run 9.5s on the RX8 with no scrubbing what so ever, providing you get a +30 offset.
