Yo Nic wavey

That's uber-cool cool

Where the wheels already fitted? If so that's a top find! Should have my little MG finished soon, and then I can pop up some pics in this corner of PH!
Thanks biggrin Can't wait to see the MG biggrin

Wheels were apprantely fitted from new, they are fondmetal which I was told was an expensive extra on the car, if anyone could tell me if this is right?

lovely looking car fella. i have a real soft spot for these and i am very tempted on buying one but worried it will be a money pit due to its age.
when i read the thread title i thought it would look hidious in that colour but actually i really like it.

Very nice. And nice optional wheels they really suit it. I had an S2 for a couple of years in Guards red with white leather interior, loved that car.

Does yours have a body kit fitted? that rear and those side skirts don't look standard.

Sorry to half hijack the thread, but how do you (and the OP) find the running costs on these?

I'm half thinking of a 944, 968 or early 80's 911 as a daily ride, given c20k/ year in just commuting I'm wondering if the appeal will soon be lost in a cloud of expensive steam, or if actually they're not particularly worse than the equivalent mundano available at the same price? Appreciate adding 20k each year to such a car would destroy the value, but I'd not greatly care!

Thanks all smile

It has the rear valance and over sills, not any specific kit as such, wheels are fondmetal apprantely an expensive optional extra when car was new.

Andy - absolutely love your retro 911 then again I like anything 80's car wise!! biggrin

This afternoon I parked my car in a village market place, perfectly fine to park there.

Some one has dented my car and cracked the fibreglass on the rear bumper, not left any note with details or anything.

Only noticed when I saw the dent shining in the sun two hours later, what should have been a pleasant day has ended horribly.

Can't go to body shop to get a quote tomorrow because I've playing clarinet at someones wedding, don't even want to do that now at all, so upset and livid at the same time frown

Someone please reassure me that a decent body place will get that dent out frown

I have seen your porker parked down ALS motor parts in Exeter.

Love the wheels mate, they are absolutely stunning, even more so in the flesh!

Very nice motor!

PS car.chic nice 944, esp like the body kit.
