Hello PH's!

Just thought i would share a few pictures of my recently acquired Mk4 Golf 1.4 E. I know it's not very Pistonheads, but i am only 17 so it's the best the funds and insurance company will allow.

I passed my test in April of this year and started driving a salmon pink Seat Arosa 1.0 Mpi, which i soon sold and purschased a Rover 111 whilst i searched for a decent car to spend my hard earned on!

This was it an early Mk4 Golf with an impressive 75bhp! In truth though, it's a great choice for a young driver because insurance is low and you don't have enough power to get yourself in any sort of trouble. However, the car is a great looker and better than the common mainstream of first cars.

Heres a few pictures i took today. The first ones are after a day excursion to the Farnborough air show which ended ina bit of off-roading. Apologises if the pictures are crap my photography skills are basic!

Points to anyone who can identify the burnt out car!

What do you think?

Yeah, the lack of power in his car is just ridiculous!

Good call. Wheels are definitely off an EOS.

ALways liked this model compared to the newer ones. Need to get one as a runabout as I'm carless at the moment after getting rid of the elise....

Nice choice.....

I'd have been happy with that as a first year car. Looks nice, especially colour coded and with alloys.

I like that, looks good with those nice subtle mods, and Black suits the MK4 Golf very well.

Do you know the story behind the burnt out Eos?

Looks to me like it has alloys (15" Avus Is wink), GTI tail lights and GTI side repeaters fitted. The 1.4 E never had a 1.4 badge, so not sure were you got that idea from.
