Very nice. Never had a Mk2 back in the day but had a Mk3. Used to drive it up and down the ramps at the local multi storey pretending I was in Starsky and Hutch.

Oh and welcome.biggrin

We are trying something that has not been dont before with the ford xflow engine , there have been many that have had stroker kits fitted with standard lengh rods but we have pistons half the size of standard with much longer rods , should be capable of revving to 10.000rpm and we are hoping to break or hit the 200bhp mark , so just over 100bhp per litre all going well , should sound like a motorbike wink

That totally rocks!!!

So reminiscent of the Fords that would race on the field courses in the Players No.6 Autocross back in the 70's and also in my local town on a Saturday night. Always wanted an Anglia to do that to, still do in fact...

Very nice Nick. Good to see the old school influences rather than the YB/Zetec conversion. Not sure about the streched tyre look myself, the lack of side wall give would be translated into exagerated body roll wouldn't it? Still clean and tidy chap. smile
