Wow... I so got carried away, and we have a "big" update..

Found myself on the bay of E and could not help myself. without further ado I present to you, my budget alloys on my budget banger Astra

30 pounds of the queen's finest exchanged hands, and I now have a set of 4 Astra Artic 14" rims, with a matched set of avon ZV1 Directional tyres in the size 195 / 60 / 14". All have at least 3 - 4mm and hold air fine.
I figure I can sell / weigh in my old rims for at least £10 and sell the old Nova wheel trims for £5.
So doing the budget banger thing, I think my new alloys and rubber should stand me in at £15.
I also got some free stereo equipment for advice and help, so that's going in too.
Got to love bangernomics

The last time I had my hands in the old Vauxhall pie those wheels were changing hands for £150 if they had half decent tyres. Shows how long ago that was then!!

I do think I got a bargain with the wheels and tyres, I think they should really be closer to £70 - £80.
anyway just for Howard-
Ta Da!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See? I do listen. £8.90 of Ebay, next day service, front and rear.
Also got a set of LED bulbs for the heater dials, for some crazy reason Vauxhall designed the backlighting on the heater controls to be on all the time, so bulbs blow lots, as mine have. I have got a set of white LEDs which i will fit, so I can have back lighting on the controls again.
I also found a visor clip to replace the drivers side one, which I broke, after being blinded by the sun. I think in future, rather than spending £4 on upgraded!!! omega ones, I will employ a cable tie, far cheaper!
Anyway, keep watching for further news.. I have been and spent £4.76 very wisely
