i'm 18 again !

WIKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID !
got it a few days ago as a spare car.... really quite shocked with it, its an absolute hoot and very very stable. You can attack country lanes at mental mental speeds.
Its on lowering springs, smaller 15" wheels and has some mods than i'm not entirely sure about, apparently a group N ecu, uprated fuel reg and some Tar-ox discs and pads. Some weird exhaust as well so it sounds like totally chavtastic... cracks me up, its like being 18 all over again.

Lol! That's not being 18 again! Now my £300 Fiat with a 900cc engine, 'phat' speakers and loads of ripped up bits of Rizla packet, THAT'S 18!
On a more serious note, how well does it feel screwed together? How many miles on the clock? Looks lovely, though suspect the pictures help...!

it feels pretty damm good... miles miles better than some 106's that i tried
and believe it or not its done 105k and is on lowering springs .. the springs do make the body control tighter and i kind of bought this one mainly because it felt planted and nice and resolved
i've never really been into the clios or known much about them but having tested a few hatches of late, i found that they strike a really good balance; they are still light, very chuckable and have that fun hot hatch spirit of old, and are not too grown up like the golf/seat/focus hot hatches, but then they are also solid and stable so better than the 306gtis etc. for everyday driving and Mway

Looks fantastic,i'm sadly having to part with my beloved 182 this weekend. Most fun car i've had.
I've had mine for a year now. Heading to the West coast of Scotland next month for some fun driving Unfortunately I'll be in the same position as you before long and the 182 will be sold
That looks like great fun. I've got a real soft spot for quick clios after a great night in London in EgoMeister's Cup.
I still fancy one - are the actually good, or just fun for a bit?

They are great fun, fairly cheap to buy and run in general, do about 35MPG on average are still a hoot to drive even 12 months on! The only issue is they will break in some way, usually serious and quite costly. Check my profile for some more info on my 182. Great fun but I always get the feeling it's sat on the drive plotting ways to empty my bank account v15ben said:

Nice. Looks quite tidy on 15s'
Bit surprised you got one with a boy-racer exhaust. Good on you for entering into the spirit of things though!
I believe a Grp N chip raises the rev limit. Have you bounced it off the limiter yet? 7.5k is standard limit in upper gears if my memory serves correctly.
