Fantastic car , very nice.
A friend of mine had a Cecotto model in Macao blue with full grey leather , the dash and consoles were all factory leather covered , had AC Schnitzer rims and exhaust , was such a nice car.
Wish i had the money at the time when he sold it .
He replaced it with an E36 M3 GT.

cheers for the comments on the exhaust! No negative ones yet. I'm between two worlds about it. I know it's a DTM car so its almost acceptable, the problem is the corsa/saxo crew tend to ruin the whole look and give them a bad image as they happly will fit them to anything with less than 50hp! It does happily spit flames on a full bore gear change so maybe thats a good reason to keep it

Great car! Nice one mate.
Always wanted one and/or 190E 2.5-16; how much is the running cost annually (service & maintenance)? I own a Corrado VR6, considering it’s from the same era, surly the E30 and the 190E won’t cost that much more to maintain?
Cheers!

I nearly bought a VR6 when I bought this which was about 6 years ago now, I had a G60 before so wanted the VR6 and then my boss suggested the m3 as he had owned a few before. I picked it up for £5400 (this was back in the day when they were cheap - see the picture below to see how it first looked!) and I have spent over £6000 on parts alone and to be fair it didn't all need doing, I'm just a bit anal. No labour costs as I have done all the work myslef. Ive replaced, rebuilt and polybushed everything, the only thing I haven't touched is the engine apart from standard maintenance. So its basically cost me £11,400 so I've done alright thanks to the value of them going up so if I was to sell it would owe me nothing and maybe a little profit!

Thank you for your explanations; looks like the running costs are not too horrendous! Hopefully in a couple of years time for me... I love these 90s cars; E30 M3, 190E 2.3/2.5-16, 968 S etc, basically my teenage kicks!
You bought yours at a great price too! Nice one!
No, they are really not too bad - I don't use it everyday but I used to for the first year or so. If you allow £1000 - £1500 a year that will easily cover it I reckon. I love all the late 80's eary 90's stuff, was thinking of replacing this with a 968 CS but couldn't bring my self to sell it!You bought yours at a great price too! Nice one!
