(yet another) e30 m3
Discussion
hey just thought I'd post up quickly.....just bought this machine. 1990, 49k miles and standard. Been looking for a good one for quite some time and was very pleased to find this one!
Anyway just spent the day driving from southampton to stranraer in Scotland and really enjoyed it! Just using the wifi on the ferry at the minute and only have a couple of pics from the journey up but will do a full report when I get home over the next days!
cheers for looking!

Red is best, looks lovely mate.
Whilst the car does look pretty good, I've never got on with red BMWs, it never suits them as well as other colours. But then I'm bitter and twisted, I just want an M3, and can't see myself getting one for a loooong time!
I am biased as mine is red but, looking at other colours, no other colour shows off a really good shine like a brilliant red car.

^^^^ Sounds a good idea
It does if the meet was up here mate but Andy would have a bit of a drive to get here Really wish I could have taken it to the E30 M3 meet at the ring this year as I'm there that weekend, but don't want to thrash it round Spa all day which we've incorporated into our trip.
Im the same with mine now Andy. I did 6 or 7 track days when I first got it. Now I couldnt bring myself to do it, dont get me wrong Ill give it a few beans from time to time but then I did 2 x 1 hour stints round Mallory park at constant red line.

Funny how times change.
I bought mine around 7 years ago did a couple trackdays, and loved almost constant enthusiast driving (when warm) and now it seams to have ended up wrapped in cotton wool in the garage.
I knew it had gone too far towards being a garage queen when I was sat in Munich Legends ordering new door handles and badges and putting tyre shine on the spare wheel.
I've just read that back to myself and really need to get a life!

Couldn't agree more, but I might be very slightly bias. Great looking car, nice to see so many of them on here over the last month all looking so good.
Before long we're going to need a pistonheads E30 M3 meet.
