Keep it coming Jay biggrin
Got some boost leaks on the IC piping somewhere, once sorted as its not a mega issue, will get it back on the Dyno and keep turning up the boost until we see injectors dropping off or around 1.8 bar, which would be aroun 650+hp. Could run her upto 2bar but risk the chance of a headgasket going pop possibly so wont bother just yet.

All fun and games biggrin

Cheers smile

Well i drove it on the weekend and it goes really well, the power comes in so smoothly it helps traction massively. First time i drove it around country lanes and a few bends and it was surprisingly brilliant!

I have now a fuel system going in, 2ltr external swirl pot, aem fuel rail, aeromotive fpr, dash6/8 lines, another walbro fuel pump meaning 3 in total. That takes care of the intank swirl pot issue we have.

I have a restriction with the inlet manifold we think at the mo, so i need a custom inlet manifold, throttle body and some brain crower custom turbo cams wouldnt go a miss. But i am going to hand fire on that.

Some pictures from the dyno day this weekend smile

Love the car, wel done for doing this... its like real life GT5 biggrin

On a personal note, if I was to be picky... I would spray the FMIC and visable pipes black... to add to the Q car persona.

Apart from the 10/10... and keep this thread updated (its one of my favourites)

biggrin
Thanks dude smile

Yeah thats one thing i wanted to do, or put black mesh infront of the IC and pipes on the bumper. I will get around to it eventually.

Brilliant car mate. Very very nice. It makes me love my CTR even more. I'm a sucker for the build quality of Honda. Keep it coming and I so hope you crack 200, spray of NOS to push it over perhaps???
Cheers mate. They awesome cars, amazing what you can do to them smile

At the mo im not sure im going to crack 200 at VMAX. The drives so well now im really thinking of leaving it as it is. I built it as an all rounder more so than specific event. The car potters around town, just the clutch is a bd. Its almost at perfect track setup and thats what i plan to do this year and get it to the ring.

See how it goes though smile

I'll have to pop over and check this out. smile

I take it Marham have opened up the trackday to general public then as opposed to just the supercar clubs and forces only? Been a while since ive been there.
Its a open pit lane track day for charity. Check it out here www.marhamtrackday.co.uk

Well my Koyo Racing Rad has arrived, just waiting on fuel bits now. A084r's are here too smile

Time has dragged on and ive not driven the car since March/April and i wasnt really able to get my toe down as it wasnt generating enough fuel pressure.

So the fuel system finally went in and was completed, aswell as the Koyo Rad. Map checked and leak test and i drove it 180miles!

Ohhh i forgot how fast it really is, with 505hp now and reving to 9000rpm my gosh it pulls like a train. Quite scary! But it drives like a normal car below boost expect for the clutch, the gauges, the fuel pumps you can hear, lol.

I'll be working on a few bits these weekend and hoping to get it all complete and some pictures up on the weekend maybe.

I wanted to keep it real sleeper but the grille has to come off, and be replaced with Black mesh to vent more cold air in and hot air out, aswell as multiple bonnet vents. Im going to try and keep it still abit sleeper but the bonnet vents might give it away.

Anyways ive not really any new pictures until this weekend, i finally found a Turbo Jacket large enough which i can fit this weekend, along with a new shiny rocker cover, hook up my Oil Temp gauge as its disconnected at the mo. Then i'll get some pics.

Heres the turbo glowing when i got home the other day after giving it some abuse.

And hear is the fuel system - Hoping to blank it off and use abit of perspex.

Fueling now consists of:

1000cc ID's
AEM Fuel Rail
Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Reg
2ltr Swirl Pot
Walbro 255 internal Pump
X2 Walbro External Pumps
Dash 8 from Pumps to Fuel rail
Dash 6 return.

Hopefully more on the weekend smile

Cheers Chaps.

Here is the current power and torque graph. The car is mapped to 9000rpm, however on this run the Mapper Romain @ Eurospec lifts of at 8250 where it makes peak power. The car has had over 200 dyno runs lol.

Its mega mate, took it out last night. OMG is all i can ever say. Mental isnt the word lol. Soon as i get on the power im on the brakes. I cant actually describe how quick it is. Here are a few random pics from last night.

And some pics from today. Did a few simple jobs, hooked up the Oil temp again, new rocker cover on, cleaned out the engine bay alittle. Now venting the bonnet. Tomorrow will be a full interior valet, if the weather stays nice smile

Sticker Fetish coming on?

Cheers guys!

Regards intercooler, i might leave it silver, black gets too hot, i enough cooling issues at the mo as it is, lol. Im going to put some fine black messh infront of it to try and hide it for now i think.

No air filter at the moment, but once the bonnet vent is in and the grille is complete mesh im going to need one just incase i suck a cat or a dog up into the turbo.

So today i got a few bits done:

1) Finally sprayed the intercooler Satin Black, looks so much better and you cant tell its there! (This will please you guys)
2) Got A048R's fitted all round
3) Cleaned interior and boot as it hasnt been cleaned for nearly for over a year and half, whilst the build has been going on.

Few pics from today.

Intercooler prep

Sprayed Satin Black

Looks so much better now smile

A few other shots

Yes thats right, i do not run a Stereo in this car biggrin

This is about a million times cleaner now lol.

Boot cleaned out, and carpet trimmed alittle. Fuel system.

Its getting there. Jobs for tomorrow are:

1) Black Mesh front bumper, includ fog light holes
2) Finish off bonnet with Vent and Grille
3) Clean wheels / Calipers and Compound mop the car.
4) Clean engine bay (detail) fit new Turbo Blanket

Then all that remains really is my new wheel nuts to go, and a few sutble stickers that i need to put on. smilesmilesmile

Brilliant! Couple of questions for you; one of the first pictures of the turbo had an actuator arm but had v-band hotside housing, you also have an external gate so why does it have an actuator built on to the turbo?

Also did you get the block overbored or did you just hone the bores?

Fantastic project though - hats off to you biggrin
You can actually run both gates. But im running external only at the mo. The internal gate is current shut. Block was bored and sleeved with Darton 88mm Iron sleeves then honed.

Cheers smile

Weather has been just as st here as it has in Canada.

Well i got the bonnet on and the im pretty happy with the current vent, sprayed in PB and with black mesh. I like it. Makes the car look mean.

Next week i'll get the bumper black meshed in and the grille finished which is just the surround in CF and black mesh. Im gonna go over the lights, with some wet and dry and g3, get them looking better. The bonnet has been mopped so next week and i can do the rest of the car.

Got a new FAL slim fan coming for the rad as the OEM one isnt doing the job, which i will fit next week and wire upto a switch. Thermostat out, and coolboost in. Turbo blanket on and i reckon im done for now.

Im sure i'll make more changes.......wind deflectors? lol.

2 pics from yesterday after the intercooler was sprayed black, soo much better.
